Release of 'Superman: Man of Steel' Postponed
Fans of the movie 'Superman' seem to have to wait a little longer to see the action of the superhuman. 'Superman: Man of Steel' which is planned to be released in December 2012, was postponed until 6 months.
Reported by Hollywood Reporter on Friday (22/07/2011), Warner Bros.. has officially announced that the film will be released on June 14, 2013. This is done to provide spacing for other Warner films, 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' which was released in December 2012.
So far, several stars already confirmed are involved in 'Superman: Man of Steel' is Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, and Michael Shannon.
Kevin Costner will play a role as Clark Kent's adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, while Russell Crowe's role as Superman's biological father, Jor-El.
Zack Snyder lined up to star as a director, while the screenplay is done by David S. Goye. Christopher Nolan is known through the 'Inception' will act as producer.
'Superman: Man of Steel' has started work on last June in Vancouver, Canada.
