Ja Rule Sentenced to Prison For Pay Delinquent Taxes
Rapper Ja Rule was sentenced to prison for 28 months in arrears to pay income taxes in the amount exceeds 1 billion U.S. dollars, as announced on Monday (18 / 7) and in the Court of New Jersey, USA.
Rapper movie player as well as 35-year-old, who originally named Jeffrey Atkins, was actually found guilty and had to undergo two years of imprisonment because it proved to have a firearm without a permit.
Atkins has pleaded guilty in court last March because it was 3 times can not meet its obligations to pay income tax. According to the U.S. attorney's office, Atkins did not pay taxes from 2004 through 2008, and owed more than 1.1 billion U.S. dollars to the government of the United States.
