Pop legend of The Ronettes Give Respect To Amy Winehouse

Ronnie Spector, the pop legend who considered the original bad girl of rock n 'roll and is an ex-girl group The Ronettes personnel, was poignant tribute to Amy Winehouse.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Spector admitted that he had never felt so sad in a long time on a single person in the music industry. He also revealed that he could not think of anyone other than Winehouse.

Spector explains, "When I saw it on television two weeks ago and she looked so intoxicated from drugs, alcohol, and the like I said, 'Damn, damn, damn, damn! Do not be like me 20 years ago! I was clean. You must rid yourself! 'And two weeks later, he died. I am very sad. "

Spector, who along with The Ronettes have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, also said that he and Winehouse have much in common, as in the model Beehive hairstyle, eyeliner, and attitude. He also said that Winehouse will remind Spector himself when young.

Spector will release a cover song by Winehouse, "Back to Black", and would donate any profits that he could to Daytop Village, a rehabilitation center for people who are drug dependent.
