Katy Perry wins Nomination Most At MTV Video Music Awards This Year



Katy Perry has earned the most nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, which will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on 28 August.

Adele was not far behind with seven nominations for his single video clip entitled "Rolling in the Deep". Kanye West, who won the same number of nominations with Adele, a man with the most nominations.

Followed by Lady Gaga, Eminem, and Beyonce who each received three nominations.

Perry received a nomination in the category Video of the Year and Best Female Video for the video clip "Fireworks" and Best Pop Video for "Last Friday Night (TGIF)". Meanwhile, the music video for the song "ET", which also featured Kanye West, received five nominations, namely Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects. Video clip "Teenage Dream" also received nominations in the category of Best Cinematography.

"I can nine nominations! Nine? I think it's a typo! Oh God, really? It was the most nominations that I've achieved for anything!, "He said as quoted by MTV News.

Perry continued, "I am very pleased. I feel nervous, it feels like the first time. "

In addition to Perry, Video of the Year nominee, as the most prestigious category at the conferment night, including hip-hop collective frontman Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, Tyler the Creator, with video clips "Yonkers", the legendary hip hop trio the Beastie Boys with "Make Some Noise", Adele in "Rolling in the Deep", and Bruno Mars with the "Grenade".
