
Lead singer of Evanescence, Amy Lee, admits that his band's new album is influenced by names like MGMT, Portishead, and Massive Attack.
Lee leaked the fact that while speaking to Rolling Stone reveals that the first album by MGMT, Oracular Spectacular, attracted him to the synthesizer as well as various other similar instruments. He also explained that some of the material that has sounds of the instruments are listed on their latest album, the first since five years ago, which will be released on 11 October.
"I remember when I first heard MGMT album for the first time. I love him. I always loved the Portishead and Massive Attack, electro stuff like that. I finally realized that the most interesting is when combining two things, the hallmark of Evanescence with new elements, "explains Lee.
Previously, drummer Will Hunt has said that Evanescence taking big risks with their new album, produced by Nick Raskulinecz. Previously, Raskulinecz was working on the albums belonging Foo Fighters, Rush, Velvet Revolver, Danzig, Marilyn Manson, Ash, and the Deftones.

Katy Perry has earned the most nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, which will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on 28 August.
Adele was not far behind with seven nominations for his single video clip entitled "Rolling in the Deep". Kanye West, who won the same number of nominations with Adele, a man with the most nominations.
Followed by Lady Gaga, Eminem, and Beyonce who each received three nominations.
Perry received a nomination in the category Video of the Year and Best Female Video for the video clip "Fireworks" and Best Pop Video for "Last Friday Night (TGIF)". Meanwhile, the music video for the song "ET", which also featured Kanye West, received five nominations, namely Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects. Video clip "Teenage Dream" also received nominations in the category of Best Cinematography.

Perry continued, "I am very pleased. I feel nervous, it feels like the first time. "
In addition to Perry, Video of the Year nominee, as the most prestigious category at the conferment night, including hip-hop collective frontman Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, Tyler the Creator, with video clips "Yonkers", the legendary hip hop trio the Beastie Boys with "Make Some Noise", Adele in "Rolling in the Deep", and Bruno Mars with the "Grenade".
